ABOUT HOW TO STOP SABOTAGING YOURSELF NEGATIVELY

"I'll never be able to do this job; I'm just not smart enough".

How many times have you said this sentence to yourself?

I've honestly said it to myself a number of times.

The problem with negative thoughts is that they can become self-fulfilling prophecies.

We tell ourselves that we are not good enough. As a result, these thoughts pull our personal lives, our relationships and our dreams into a negative spiral.

However, if we intentionally do the opposite and allow positive thinking, the effect can be powerful and far more helpful. But what is the story behind positive affirmations ?

We are what we think..

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you challenge and overcome self-sabotage and negative thoughts. If you repeat them often and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes.

Many of us use various sports and exercises to keep our bodies fit. Affirmations are like exercises for our mind and attitude. These positive mental repetitions can reprogram our thought patterns so that over time we begin to think - and act - differently.

According to researchers, affirmations can calm the nervous system and boost your confidence.

Self-affirmation can also help mitigate the effects of stress. In one study, a short affirmation exercise increased the problem-solving ability of "chronically stressed" people to the same level as people with low stress.

In addition, affirmations have been used successfully to treat people with low self-esteem, depression and other mental illnesses. And they have been shown to stimulate the areas in our brain that make it more likely that we will make positive changes in relation to our health.

How do I think positive?

Affirmations can be used in any situation where you wish to make a positive change.

The essence of affirmations is to develop your own language in which you treat yourself with respect.

Affirmations can be more effective if you combine them with other positive thinking and goal setting techniques.

For example, affirmations work particularly well together with visualisations. So instead of just imagining the change you want, you can write it down or say it out loud using a positive affirmation.

Think about the areas of your life that you would like to change.

Turn negativity into positivity. If you may struggle with negative self-talk, write it down. Then choose an affirmation that is the opposite of that thought and belief.

Start your daily morning routine with a personal affirmation.

Start your sentence with: I am...

continue the sentence for yourself and reflect on it - I am powerful.

I radiate pure love, light, and positivity.

Mucho Love,

Estefania
